Linda has owned and trained dogs for over forty years. As a pet owner she had a variety of breeds, Labradors, GSD’s, Jack Russells, Yorkshire Terrier, Border Collies, young puppies and older rescue dogs.

 

In 2005, Linda took up Competitive Obedience and very quickly qualified to ‘Championship’ standard with her first dog – Mika. Linda is a qualified Mentor and Life-Coach, so is ideally placed to combine her expertise in training dogs – & their owners – with her communication and motivational skills. She has established a successful Obedience training business in Suffolk and Essex and offers pet dog owners the opportunity to benefit from her wide-ranging expertise.

 

Linda’s training style is relaxed and fun. She works to enable the best relationship between dog and handler so that both have a positive and enjoyable experience when training. This involves keen observation of teams as they train, combined with clear communication to achieve productive results.

 

All training is reward based, and interactions are broken down into small steps to aid learning. The sessions will include some ‘classroom’ teaching, demonstrations of training with Linda’s dogs and practical time for you to be coached by Linda.
